INFRARED REFLECTIVE FLAG USA PATCH
It may look like a small, ordinary patch – but it offers extraordinary capabilities. At first glance, you’ll see a camouflaged or single-color textile surface with a black base forming the flag. The real magic appears under night vision, where the black background glows, enabling perfect identification.
Our IR recognition patches represent the best of current technology. The base consists of a non-flammable, highly durable matte material that reflects light in the 3–12 µm wavelength range, which is compatible with the majority of IR-illuminated night vision devices used by NATO forces.
Unlike other commonly available solutions, we use a specialized processing technology. This approach ensures significantly longer durability and eliminates peeling of the top film, a common issue with competitors’ products that leads to irreversible damage of the IR patch.
Our IR patches are functional across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +90°C, making them suitable for safe transport in unheated cargo compartments, especially in military aircraft where extreme temperature fluctuations occur.
Each patch is typically equipped with hook-and-loop backing (Velcro) for easy attachment to gear or clothing. If needed, we also offer versions without Velcro.
All materials used in the production of our IR identification elements are manufactured in the EU or USA, in accordance with current standards and regulations.
